Disciplinary Commission of FECAFOOT bans club presidents

Alex OWONA, President of Renaissance FC Ngoumou, will be accused on April 27th, 2022 after the game Renaissance FC Ngoumou vs. Bamboutos F.C. Mbouda (2-2), to have torn the referee’s game report. He physically attacked the referees and verbally insulted.
President Alex OWONA was banned by the FECAFOOT disciplinary Commission for six game days for this grossly unsportsmanlike behavior towards game officials.

 

The ban comes into force at the beginning of the 2022/2023 season.

 

The Commission’s decision was published on August 10, 2022.

Jule François FAMAWA, president of Panthere Sportive Nde FC

On August 10th the Disciplinary Committee opened a case against Jules Francois FAMAWA, President of Panthere Sportive Nde FC.
The president is accused of badly damaging the image of Cameroonian football with his unsportsmanlike behavior in the game Yafoot FC vs. Panthere Sportive Nde FC (0-1).
FAMAWA is accused of provoking and insulting spectators during the game. In addition, the president is said to have tried to intimidate match officials, whom he is also said to have insulted in a hurtful manner.
Because of these violations of the basic rules of decency and gross unsportsmanlike conduct, the Disciplinary Committee has imposed a suspension of 14 matchdays.


The ban will come into effect at the start of the 2022/2023 season.


The decision is not yet final. The President of Panthere Sportive FC Nde can appeal the decision of the Commission.
